FAQ

Q1: How many members can a team have?
A: A team can have 2 to 5 members.

Q2: Is the event physical or remote
A: The event will be mainly physical, a team may have up to half of their members sitting remote (2 person teams need both onsite, 3 person teams need 2 onsite, 4 person teams need 3 onsite, 5 person teams need 3 onsite).

Q3: How do I register for the competition?
A: You can register through eventbrite. You will need a ticket for physical attendance.

Q4: What if I don't have a team?
A: Sign up and show up, we will make sure everyone has a team before we start.

Q5: I pwned the challenge, where can I find the flag?
A: In the following locations / , /root , C:/. Unless otherwise specified.

Q6: What special hardware will I need to bring?
A: Just your computer! If you will need some special equipment, we will provide it.

Q7: What is the flag format?
A: The flag format will be one of two:
TDCNET{flag_here} / FLAG{flag_here}

Q8: What about food and drinks?
A: We provide all food and drinks. We will of course try to cater to as many preferences as possible, non-pork, vegan, pesca-pescatarians and alike, but we appreciate a heads up if you have a unique dietary restriction :-)

Q9: Will there be talks and workshops?
A: There will only be an introductory talk and welcome, so you can get straight to hacking.

Q10: How will the scoring work?
A: We will be using the rCTF curve in CTFd. Read more here: https://github.com/sigpwny/ctfd-dynamic-challenges-mod

Q11: How many challenges will there be?
A: Hopefully more than enough ;-)

Q12: Why is it only for Danish Citizens or Danish Residents?
A: We simply don't have the manpower to hold an event for everyone, so we are prioritizing pushing this event for the community in Denmark.

Q13: Why do I need to provide ID?
A: This is a requirement from our physical security department, all guests must identify themselves before being allowed in on the premises, if you cannot provide ID you sadly cannot join physically.

Q14: Will there be music again this year?
A: We can neither confirm nor deny.
